Parc Centennaire
Parc Centennaire

The Parc centennaire, or “Centennial Park”, is located at 20 Rue Notre Dame just north of École secondaire catholique de Pain Court. This park consists of a front portion that includes two gravel parking lots, two large pavillions with picnic tables, playground equipment, a newly renovated tennis/pickleball court, and bodyweight exercise equipment with rubber mulch. The rear portion of the park features a baseball diamond, a hill (perfect for winter tobogganing), and a field with bleachers for the annual tractor-pull competition and rodeo.

Attached to the rear park, the school has converted their green space to contribute to the park amenities as well. Their portion of the property includes a fenced-in running track and soccer field with long-jump pits on the west side as well as a small meadow with a gazebo on the south end of the property where memorial trees are planted for each grade 12 graduating class. A mile-long paved path encircles both properties and is frequently used by villagers and visitors alike. Multiple benches, trash cans, and dispensers for dog poop bags can also be found around the path.
Park Rules:
- A reminder that dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and supervised at all times.
- Recreational and Motor vehicles aside from lawn maintenance and service vehicles are prohibited on both properties
- We ask that anyone using the baseball diamond respect the community by parking in the designated areas and not on the grass
- Please respect the surrounding community and avoid using the park after dark
